What happens after I send this?
An engineer — not a salesperson — reads it and replies within one business day, usually with two or three specific questions. If it is clearly outside what we do, we will say so and point you somewhere more useful rather than booking a call anyway.
Do I need a requirements document first?
No. A description of what is going wrong is more useful than a specification written before anyone mapped the process. Writing that specification is part of discovery.
Is the first conversation chargeable?
No. The first call and the rough cost range that follows it cost nothing. Paid work starts at discovery, which is scoped and priced on its own so you can stop after it with the output in hand.
