Mobile App Development
Apps built for the phones your users actually carry and the networks they actually have, not for a demo on the newest device in the office.
Short answer
Mobile app development builds software that runs on Android and iOS devices. BetterSoftZ builds Android-first apps for the Bangladeshi market — field data capture that works offline, delivery and sales apps, and customer apps with bKash and Nagad payments — tested on mid-range devices and weak connections rather than only on flagship phones.
What this gets you
- Field staff capturing data without waiting for a signal
- Orders and deliveries updated from the road, not re-keyed at night
- Customers paying inside the app with the wallet they already use
- An install that fits on a phone with little storage left
- Crash and usage data that tells you what to fix next
Designing for the device, not the demo
The phone that matters is a mid-range Android with a year-old OS, limited storage and a connection that drops between the gate and the warehouse. Every decision follows from that: install size is budgeted, images are compressed aggressively, screens work one-handed, and tap targets survive being used by someone wearing gloves in a hurry.
What we build most often
- Field and survey apps — offline capture with photos, GPS and signatures, syncing when the device gets a signal.
- Delivery and logistics apps — route lists, proof of delivery, cash collection reconciled against the day’s manifest.
- Sales and distribution apps — order entry with correct pricing, credit limits enforced on the device, stock visibility.
- Customer apps — accounts, ordering, tracking and in-app payment through the wallets your customers already have.
Offline is a data problem, not a feature toggle
Working offline is straightforward until two people change the same record while disconnected. We settle those rules during discovery rather than during a support call: which side wins, what the user is shown, and what an administrator can do to correct it. Sync is designed to be resumable, so a partial upload on a bad connection does not corrupt a day’s work.
Getting it into users’ hands
Store submission, review responses, staged rollout and release notes are part of the engagement. After launch, crash reporting and funnel analytics tell us where users actually stop — which is rarely where anyone predicted in the planning meeting.
In every engagement
- Device and OS support matrix agreed up front
- Offline-first data layer with conflict rules where needed
- Play Store and App Store submission handled end to end
- Crash reporting and analytics wired in before launch
- Release pipeline for staged rollouts
- Bangla and English interface copy

Frequently asked questions
Should we build native or cross-platform?
Most business apps in Bangladesh are best served by Flutter or React Native: one codebase, both platforms, lower long-term maintenance. Native earns its cost when the app leans hard on device hardware, background processing or platform-specific integrations, and we will tell you which case you are in during discovery.
Do we need an iOS version?
For most domestic audiences, Android carries the overwhelming majority of users and Android-first is the sensible sequence. Build iOS at the same time when your users are corporate buyers, overseas customers, or your own senior staff.
Can the app work without internet?
Yes, and for field, sales and agriculture work it usually must. Data is captured locally and synced when a connection returns, with explicit rules for what happens when two people edited the same record offline.
Can users pay through bKash or Nagad in the app?
Yes. We integrate mobile financial services and card gateways, including the parts that matter after the happy path: refunds, failed callbacks, duplicate-payment protection and end-of-day reconciliation.
Tell us what you need built.
Describe the problem in plain words. We will tell you what it takes to build and roughly what it costs.
