Privacy policy

This policy explains what information BetterSoftZ collects through this website, why, and what we do with it. It is written to be read rather than to be technically unchallengeable, and we have tried to keep it short.

What we collect

Only two things, and only when you give them to us:

• Enquiry details. When you submit the contact form we receive the name, email address, phone number, company and project description you entered, along with the project type, budget range and timeline you selected.
• Basic analytics. Aggregate page-view statistics with no attempt to identify individual visitors. We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.

Why we hold it

To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to run the engagement. That is the only purpose. We do not add enquiry contacts to a marketing list, and we do not share your details with third parties for their own use.

Who can see it

Enquiry details reach the engineers and the person handling commercial conversations. Submissions are delivered by email through our email provider and stored in our own systems. Where an engagement involves your production data, that is governed by the separate agreement we sign with you, not by this policy.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for two years, so we can pick up a conversation that paused. Ask us to delete yours earlier and we will, without requiring a reason.

• Ask what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
• Ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete it.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third party, so visiting this site does not disclose your visit to a font provider.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. We will not quietly broaden what we collect.
