RADAR Student Early Warning System

Watches attendance, marks and homework through the term and flags a student who is slipping while there is still time to help, not after the result.

What is a student early warning system?

A student early warning system watches attendance, marks and homework through the term and flags students whose record is slipping before an exam shows it. RADAR, from BetterSoftZ, does this for Bangladeshi schools and colleges: it alerts the class teacher and the vice principal in charge of that section, and keeps a one-page record for every student to use with guardians. It runs on its own or inside Vip SchoolZ.

Who it is for

  • Schools preparing SSC and HSC candidates
  • Colleges with large sections
  • Principals who want fewer surprises at result time
  • Schools that want to keep their current software

What is included

Falling marks

Shows when a student's marks in a subject keep dropping from one test to the next, rather than waiting for the term result.

Attendance patterns

Flags attendance falling below your threshold and patterns such as repeated absences on the same weekday with no reason given.

Missed homework

Counts homework missed in a row per subject, which usually shows trouble before the marks do.

One page per student

A student's marks, attendance and fees together on one page, so a guardian meeting starts from the actual record.

Alerts to the right person

The class teacher and the vice principal in charge of that section are told, not the whole staff.

Marks, GPA and report cards

Term and test marks entered in a grid, the Bangladesh 5-point GPA worked out, and report cards and tabulation sheets produced as PDF.

When this is the wrong purchase

In a small school where teachers know every student and meet guardians often, RADAR adds little. It earns its cost where class teachers have too many students to track by memory and a weak student is easy to miss until the result.

Common questions

How much does RADAR cost?

On its own, ৳25 per student a month. It is also included in the Vip SchoolZ Sovereign Excellence plan (৳30 per student a month), together with AutoRoutine.

Can we use it with the school software we already have?

Yes. RADAR runs on its own next to your current system, or inside Vip SchoolZ, where it reads the attendance and marks you already enter.

Who receives the alerts?

The class teacher and the vice principal in charge of that section. Alerts go to the people who can act on them rather than to every member of staff.

What does it look at?

Attendance, test and term marks, and homework through the term, together with fees on the student's one-page record.
